Bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus)

The bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus) is a herbivorous, mostly nocturnal forest ungulate and among the largest of the African forest antelope species. Unlike many antelope both sexes of bongo have long slightly spiralled horns. Bongos typically live in small family groups (up to eight females, their young, and a dominant male) in dense African forests.
